Greensboro police investigate multiple overnight shootings

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Greensboro Police Department is investigating three separate overnight shootings.

At about 2:32 a.m., police responded to 4927 West Market Street at the Bukanas Night Club in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, they found one victim lying in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound and another inside the club who had been assaulted.

The victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

As of Friday morning, it is unknown if the shooting and assault are related.

At about 2:36 a.m., police responded to the 2600 Block of Randleman Road in reference to shots fired in the area. When they arrived, police discovered one victim with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

Police were also called to the intersection of South Holden Road and Darden Road where a victim was suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

The extent of the four victims' injuries is currently unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
