SYDNEY, Australia – A woman on the run has responded to police on Facebook, asking if they will use a better picture of her instead of her mugshot.

Daily Mail Australia reported that 18-year-old Amy Sharp, of Sydney, escaped from a corrective center last Friday.

Shortly after that, police posted mugshots of the suspect to Facebook, asking the public to help find her.

Sharp then went on a TV station’s Facebook page and politely asked them to use a different picture of her.

“Can you use this photo, please and thank you…Yours Truly, Amy Sharp xx,” the suspect, who had been in custody for property offences, allegedly wrote.

Sharp was arrested Saturday morning and taken to a police station for further questioning.
