Shooting reported at Buffalo Wild Wings in Danville injures one

DANVILLE, Va. – One person was injured after a shooting reported at a restaurant in Danville early Sunday morning, according to the Danville Police Department.

Danville police were called to a Buffalo Wild Wings shortly before 1 a.m. in reference to shots being fired.

Arriving officers said a large crowd was in the restaurant’s parking lot and they were told that a 21-year-old man was taken to Danville Regional Medical Center suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

The unidentified shooting victim was listed in stable condition. Authorities have not released a motive or the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
