Woman dies after Greensboro house fire

GREENSBORO, N.C. – A woman died after a house fire Saturday morning in Greensboro, according to the Greensboro Fire Department.

Firefighters were called to the fire shortly before 1:30 a.m. at 3904 Dogwood Drive. The identity of the victim and cause of the fire have not been released.

It took about an hour to get the situation under control and the fire caused about $70,000 in damage, according to officials.
