Two injured in Greensboro shooting

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Police are investigating after two people were shot and injured in Greensboro early Saturday morning.

Greensboro police responded to West Gate City Boulevard at Groometown Road in reference to a shooting shortly before 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

Arriving officers found two victims with gunshots wounds who were taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.

Police are detaining possible suspects at this time. The identities of the victims and circumstances surrounding the incident have not been released.
