Judge declares mistrial in child sex trial of former Lindley elementary teacher

GREENSBORO, N.C. — A judge this morning declared a mistrial in the case against a former Lindley Elementary School teacher who is accused of sexually abusing a child at the school, according to the Greensboro News & Record.

The jury foreperson told the judge earlier today that the jury was hopelessly deadlocked at 11-1.

Randall “Randy” Lee Clawson faces four counts each of first-degree sexual offense with a child, sexual activity with a student by a teacher, indecent liberties with a child and three counts of first-degree kidnapping.
