FORSYTH COUNTY, N.C. -- The search to find missing East Forsyth Middle School teacher Krishawn Noble resumed Friday morning.

Noble was last seen around noon on Thursday when he rented a pedal boat at the park.

Park staff say around 1:30 p.m., the boat had washed ashore, but Noble was nowhere to be found. His wallet, keys and life jacket were still on the boat.

The sheriff's office then began a ground and water search using sonar technology and bloodhounds.

Crews did not find anything. Noble's car was found in the small parking lot at the park, so far deputies have not made any statements about the car or anything inside of it.

Noble is a first-year teacher at East Forsyth Middle School. Deputies say when Noble failed to show up for work Thursday they asked the sheriff's office to check in on him. Deputies made contact with Noble at his home and said everything was OK.
