Woman wins $10.7 million jackpot playing penny slots in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS — A woman won more than $10.7 million playing penny slots at the Wynn casino in Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The big win came on Sunday at about 9 p.m., the newspaper reports.

The woman, identified as an Oahu, Hawaii, resident, won on an IGT Megabucks Wynn Wheel machine.

She was playing the penny machine in $3 wagers when the jackpot hit, the newspaper reports. She came away with $10,777,270.51.

Megabucks Wynn Wheel is a custom game built by IGT specifically for the casino. The game features developer Steve Wynn’s portrait and includes custom video reels.
