Man shot, killed in Danville

DANVILLE, Va. – Police are investigating after man was shot and killed Saturday night in Danville, according to Danville police.

Christopher Lamont Motley, 33, of Danville, was pronounced dead at the scene after police responded to the area of North Hills Court shortly before 10:30 p.m. in reference to shots fired.

The victim was found outside building 124 suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Police said the body of the victim will be sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Roanoke for an autopsy.
