Pennsylvania Amish man charged with driving drunk after police saw 2 men on buggy roof

CANOE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Pennsylvania authorities arrested and charged an 18-year-old Amish teenager on Wednesday with driving his buggy while drunk.

Robert Miller was charged after police say they stopped his buggy on July 8 when two men were riding on the roof, according to WJAC.

In addition, four passengers ranging in age from 16 to 20 were cited for underage drinking. Police say all five were drinking.

Yes, drinking is still illegal while operating a buggy.
