Owner closing Lewisville boutique for new phase in life

LEWISVILLE, N.C. — Customers at Accessorize This have begun walking through the door of the shop, putting their hands on their hips and delivering mock glares at owner Gina Player, their body language sending a message of displeasure, according to the Winston-Salem Journal.

Player delayed closing her boutique on Shallowford Road for months for this very reason. She didn’t want to disappoint her longtime customers, many of whom have become friends.

And while customers say they are sad to see the store close, they are also letting Player know that their sadness extends beyond her inventory.

“I know my customers; they know me,” Player said. “People are saying, ‘We are going to miss you.’”
