GREENSBORO, N.C. — The Greensboro Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred at 2410 East Market Street late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to a shooting call near Gate City Boulevard and Willow Road and found one victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment and the extent of their injuries is unknown.

The victim’s name and address are being temporarily withheld.

The investigation is ongoing.
