Greensboro police investigating bank robbery; suspect sought

NewBridge Bank at 3202 Randleman Road (WGHP)

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Greensboro police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Monday afternoon.

The robbery happened at NewBridge Bank, located at 3202 Randleman Road.

Bank employees told officers that a man entered the building at approximately 1:17 p.m. Monday and passed a note to a teller demanding money.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the man fled on foot.

No weapon was displayed and no one was injured in the incident.

The man is described as 6 feet 1 inches tall with a noticeable disability in his right eye. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, light blue shirt and jeans.
