High Point father, 17-year-old son arrested on numerous drug charges

HIGH POINT, N.C. — A High Point man and his 17-year-old son were arrested Tuesday on numerous drug charges.

Detectives conducted a drug investigation at 174 Craven Road Tuesday. During the investigation, detectives executed a search warrant and arrested Heath Huskey and his son Branson Huskey on multiple drug charges.

Heath Huskey was charged with trafficking schedule II controlled substance (hydrocodone), manufacturing marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance (Xanax), maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Branson Huskey was charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. A total of 15 Hydrocodone tablets, 4 grams of cocaine, 45 grams of marijuana, one marijuana plant, 34 Xanax tablets, two oxycodone tablets, and four Adderall tablets were seized during the investigation.

Heath Huskey received a $150,000 secured bond and Branson Huskey received a $25,000 secured bond. Both were placed in the Davidson County Jail and are scheduled to appear in court Sept. 29.
