CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia man was in a checkout line at Walmart when he saw a Clayton County police officer buying school supplies and a booster seat for a family.

Cortney Ogletree published a Facebook post about the incident on Friday, thanking the officer for her kindness.

Since then, the picture has gone viral with more than 1,500 shares.

So I just want to share a positive image with all the negative stuff going on around us. While me and my girl Shanay Johnson were standing in line at Riverdale Walmart we witnesses a Clayton County Police officer buy school supplies and booster seats for the family you see in the picture. This needs to go viral. This is pure example that racism, police brutality, nor violence against police has to exist. We just need to love each other.#ClaytonCountyPolice
