DELAND, Fla. -- A man survived a violent rollover crash that was caught on surveillance video Saturday, according to WESH.

The accident happened along Woodland Boulevard in Deland. When the car stopped flipping, bystanders rushed to help.

"People came over with fire extinguishers to put out the fire," Morgan Bissel told WESH. "We flipped the car over and pulled the guy out so he didn't burn alive."

Jarrod Winfield said one person cut the man free of his seat belt and he and another good Samaritan pulled him out through the sunroof.

Shortly after, police and paramedics took over at the scene, witnesses said.

The vehicle first hit a mailbox, then ran into some ATVs parked outside of a scooter shop, WESH reported. The vehicle continued to spin out of control, rolling over several times before landing upside down.

"It probably did four or five 360s in the air," Keeling King said.

No one else was injured in the crash. It is not clear what led to the crash and the cause is under investigation.
