QUAKERTOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania woman is accused of lacing her baby’s formula with a painkiller to help him sleep.

28-year-old Corinne Barndt is charged with child endangerment and reckless endangerment.

Barndt reportedly drugged her son’s formula with buprenorphine six or seven times between November and April, according to The Morning Call.

Buprenorphine is typically used by heroin addicts to wean themselves off the drug.

She is in jail and under a $1 million bond. She has an Aug. 8 court appearance.
