NC State alumna among 84 victims killed in France terror attacks

RALEIGH, N.C. — Among the 84 people who lost their life in Nice, France, when a large truck plowed through a crowd celebrating Bastille Day, was 26-year-old Camille Murris, a North Carolina State University alumna and project manager for a Paris-based advertising agency, NC State News reports.

From 2010-2011, Murris took classes at NC State as part of a program offered by SKEMA Business School, who has an international campus in Raleigh.

During her life, she worked with SKEMA-ran student organization Esperanza where she assisted with school renovation and childhood physical education projects and worked on various fundraising efforts.

The Bastille Day attack cost 84 people their life and injured 202 more.
