CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Authorities were on the scene of a fire at Wilson Trucking in north Charlotte Wednesday morning.

The fire, which reportedly took place on a loading dock, left several people injured.

WSOC reports that five people were rushed to a local hospital – one with serious injuries, two with life-threatening injuries and two with minor injuries.

The fire allegedly began with a large explosion.

The investigation is ongoing.
