FRESNO, Calif. — Three California runaways used a tractor to smash through the wall of a school building before going inside and stealing sodas and radios Sunday night, KFSN reports.

When officials got to the scene, they saw the teenagers running away and were able to easily contain them. The three boys had reportedly run away from a group home they were a part of.

The tractor was initially at a neighboring elementary school where it was being used to install new playground turf.

The repairs are costing the school more than $4,000 and the three boys are in jail and face charges of burglary and vandalism.
