ASHEBORO, N.C. -- In Friday's Zoo Filez, FOX's Shannon Smith visited the NC Zoo's coolest attraction - the puffin exhibit.

"It's about 55 in the viewing area and we keep the back air around 50," said Puffin Keeper Melissa Vindigni. "The water is always under 60."

The adorable, large-beaked puffins, who are often mistaken for penguins, are a popular attraction for NC Zoo guests.
