PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania woman is accused of leaving her four children alone while she went to a bar.

Authorities were called to an apartment complex Sunday afternoon when the manager saw the children playing outside without an adult, WPXI reports.

31-year-old Rosa Alvarado left her children, ages 6, 4, 2 and 1 month, outside and went to a local bar.

When taken into custody, she reportedly told the officers, “I am stressed out and I went to the bar drinking.”

Alvarado is facing charges of child endangerment and public drunkenness. The children are now in protective custody.
