IHOP is celebrating 58 years in the pancake flipping business.  As a part of its celebration, it will sell short stacks of its original buttermilk pancakes for 58 cents on Tuesday.

The pancakes will be offered from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating restaurants.  So, call ahead to see if your local IHOP is participating in this promotion.

This promotion is dine-in only.

The promotional price of 58 cents is four cents less than what a stack of pancakes cost in 1958 when Al and Jerry Lapin, along with other partners, opened the first International House of Pancakes in Toluca Lake, Calif.
