Two Greensboro restaurants rank high on list of America’s best burger joints

Two restaurants in Greensboro rank high on a recently list of the 50 best burger joints in the country.

Business Insider assembled the list, which looked at data from Foursquare, including ratings, popularity and reviews.

Big Burger Spot came in at No. 14 and Hops Burger Bar was ranked at No. 17.

“The North Carolinian is a must-try — half pound of beef, pimiento cheese, fried green tomato, fried egg, bacon, and lettuce,” one Foursquare user said of Hops.

The No. 1 spot went to Hopdoddy Burger Bar in Austin, Texas, followed by Casper and Runyon’s Nook in St. Paul, Minn. and Shake Shack in New York City.
