Florida mom recognizes son as pharmacy store robber; he turns himself in

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A 27-year-old Florida man turned himself into the police after his mother recognized him in surveillance video as the person being sought for a string of drug store robberies.

Keith Fitzgerald Knowles Jr. is charged with robbery, theft and battery after his mother showed him the surveillance footage and he turned himself in, SunSentinel reports.

Knowles was booked into jail and is under a $45,100  bond.
