AUSTIN, Texas — Film students at the University of Texas are about to receive movie pointers from an Academy Award Winner.

UT graduate Matthew McConaughey, who has starred in dozens of movies throughout his career, including “Mud,” “Bernie,” “Dallas Buyers Club,””Intersteller” and “Dazed and Confused,” has signed on to teach one filmmaking course at the university.

The school released a social media announcement on Thursday but did not immediately provide further details on the matter. The release did say that McConaughey would be joined by “Hunger Games” director Gary Ross.

Professor McConaughey has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?
