HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – An Arkansas grandmother was arrested after disciplining her granddaughter with a switch.

According to KLRT, Norma Toussaint, 70, was charged with domestic battery after the 12-year-old girl that she punished told officers that her grandmother became angry when she didn’t throw her food away.

She said that Toussaint hit her several times on one arm with a switch from a bush in the front yard.

The woman said that she punished her granddaughter because she talked back to her.
