OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A suspected drunk driver is accused of killing a man in a hit-and-run and driving for a mile with the victim wedged inside her car.

According to KNSD, Esteysi Sanchez Izazaga, 29, was traveling at an undisclosed rate of speed when the victim went through her windshield and got stuck in the passenger side seat – the driver had no idea.

After detaching from his body, the victim’s leg flew through the back window, landing on the trunk of the car, Oceanside police said.

Izazaga has been arrested and charged with felony DUI, felony hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter. The victim’s name has yet to be released and the investigation is ongoing.
