WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A man was arrested Tuesday morning after he allegedly robbed a Winston-Salem bank, according to a news release from Winston-Salem police.

Brandon Christopher Dunn, 23, of Winston-Salem, is charged with common law robbery.

At 10:34 a.m., officers responded to the First Citizens Bank at 1920 Peace Haven Road on a report of a robbery.

Moments before officers arrived, a suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a teller, the news release said.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Employees of the bank were able to obtain a suspect vehicle description and give it to officers. Minutes after the robbery, officers located the vehicle in the 2000 block of Polo Road and Dunn was arrested without incident, the news release said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Dunn was placed in the Forsyth County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 14.
