GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Hundreds of dogs and their owners are gathering in Greensboro this weekend for the Coconut Classic.

The North American Flyball Association is holding the event at the Greensboro Sportsplex.

Flyball is a four-dog team relay race. Each dog must clear four hurdles to reach a box that releases a ball. They must then carry the ball back over the hurdles, prompting the next teammate to start their part of the relay. The fastest team wins.

The event today started at 8 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. It is free to watch.
