HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. — Deputies said they have charged an Illinois woman after they say she was found inside the Henderson County home of a Hollywood star.

Deputies said they have charged Laurence Marie Dorn, of Jefferson Street, in Clinton, IL, with second degree burglary, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor stalking, assault and battery, and interfering with emergency communications.

Deputies said Kelly McGillis returned home on Friday night to find Dorn inside her residence. After a struggle, the victim was able to flee her residence and call 911.

A short time later deputies were able to locate Dorn and place her under arrest.

McGillis has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including “Top Gun” and “One Life to Live.” McGillis posted about the incident on Facebook.

FOX Carolina’s Derek Dellinger sat down with McGillis on Thursday to talk about the break-in.

“I had never seen her before in my life,” she said. “I told her, ‘Who are you? Get out of here!’ and, ‘I have guns in the house.’ I was worried someone else was here in my bedroom with a gun.”
