WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Transit Authority staff has confirmed the existence of bed bugs inside the Clark Campbell Transportation Center.

WSTA staff and the city’s Property and Facilities Management staff discovered the bugs in restrooms and office areas on the first and second floors of the center on Wednesday.

Portable toilets are being provided for use outside of the center for staff and transit customers. Staff will inspect all buses and the WSTA’s administrative offices at the Hampton Haith Transportation Center for bed bugs, as well.

Eradication services have been scheduled for this weekend. Information will be provided to all riders regarding bed bug prevention.
