Names of pedestrian, motorcyclist involved in Davidson County accident released

DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The Highway Patrol on Monday released the names of two people involved in an accident in Davidson County on Friday.

The accident happened in the 6000 block of N.C. 150 North at about 11:30 a.m.

Highway Patrol confirmed to FOX8 that Patricia Gillespie, 62, was crossing the road after checking her mail and walked into the path of a motorcycle driven by 55-year-old Perry Tilly.

No charges have been filed.

The Lexington Dispatch reported that Gillespie was in critical condition at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center as of Monday afternoon.
