Man shot multiple times during disturbance at Burlington house

BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man was shot at a Tillman Street residence in Burlington Monday afternoon, according to Capt. B. Taylor with Burlington police.

The shooting was reported at 702 Tillman St. at 2:41 p.m., Taylor said.

When officers arrived, they located a man who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to Alamance Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a disturbance between approximately four to eight people occurred at the residence when the man was shot, Taylor said.

Three to four people fled the property following the shooting.
