WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A broken water main continues to delay traffic  on Silas Creek Parkway at Robinhood Road.

The road is down to one lane in both directions because of the broken water pipes.

Traffic has been delayed since Tuesday afternoon and will continue to be delayed for up to three days until the water lines and the road are repaired, according to Damon Duquenne of Winston-Salem Utilities.

City crews will have to cut out pieces of the roadway to inspect underneath and make sure there are no issues as a result of the break. After, they will have to fill the void areas with concrete, then pave the surface.
