GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Ronnevik family moved out of their home Saturday, following a note from their neighbor complaining about their baby’s crying.

"Today's the big day, we're moving," said Jessica Ronnevik. "Every day has been stressful trying to get out of here."

Jessica and her husband, Karl, are moving with their son, Peter, who's 1.

The family says they've been walking on egg shells since receiving a note from their neighbor, two months ago. They've been living at an apartment/condominium complex in downtown Greensboro.

The note questioned the parents parenting skills, saying their child cries too much.

The neighbor not only wrote them the note, but also complained to the complex. The family says his complaints about the child's crying led to them getting a citation for a noise violation.

The neighbor gave FOX8 this statement when asked about the family's move:

"I wish the family well. I hope their move is a safe one, and I hope they've found a new home which is better suited for raising their toddler and their soon-to-be newborn baby.

It is my sincere and earnest wish that everyone involved is able to sleep more soundly in the future... especially whomever is lucky enough to share a bedroom wall with their nursery."

The Ronneviks are expecting their second child in 10 weeks. They say they've moved to a community with kid-friendly neighbors.

The family says they are extremely thankful to their church. Members of their church volunteered to help them move.

Jessica says she's received lots of positive feedback from parents, supporting the family.
