MECKLENBURG COUNTY, N.C. — Multiple vehicles, including a trailer carrying bees, were involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon on northbound Interstate 85, according to WSOC.

The crash was at the Mecklenburg and Gaston county line on the bridge over the Catawba River.

Traffic was backed up for at least a mile. WSOC’s Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the scene and saw at least three tractor-trailers and an SUV involved in the crash.

The trailer overturned at mile marker 28, near the weigh station at the Catawba River. Multiple NCDOT incident management units and a beekeeper were called to the scene.
