YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, Wyo. — A man has fallen into Norris Geyser Basin at Yellowstone Nation Park.

Yellowstone park officials say a witness reported a man in his early 20s walked off the boardwalk and fell into a hot spring, according to a park news release.

The incident occurred approximately 225 yards off the boardwalk, according to a news release.

As a result of the incident the Norris Geyser Basin is currently closed to the public

Park officials say the investigation is ongoing and no further information will be available Tuesday.
