GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police are negotiating with a man who has barricaded himself in a hotel room, according to Greensboro police.

At 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers were called to Microtel Inn at 4304 Big Tree Way, in reference to a disturbance involving the man. The situation was resolved peacefully.

About 20 minutes later, Greensboro police were again called to the motel because the man had barricaded himself in one of the rooms with a weapon. Police say the man is by himself.
