MAGGIE VALLEY, N.C. — It looks like a North Carolina fan-favorite attraction won’t reopen this season.

Ghost Town Village, a mountaintop theme park in Haywood County, will remain closed this summer, according to WLOS.

Park officials announced on the Ghost Town Village Facebook page that the park will not open for the season.

The park was scheduled to open June 1, but Ghost Town Village owner Alaska Pressley has struggled for years trying to get the park up to code.
