DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — The Davidson County Sheriff’s Office has charged one teenager in connection with an armed robbery on April 17 at 32 Candlewood Drive in Lexington.

According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, Jeremy Jordan Emery, 17, attempted to rob two teenagers aged 15 and 17 at gunpoint, but both got away safely.

On June 1, Emery was charged with two counts of attempted armed robbery and placed in the Davidson County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond. He has a June 27 court date.
