HIGH POINT, N.C. -- This edition of Roy's Folks is tied to an even that will take place in High Point this Saturday. It’s called “EbFest.” It’s a tribute to High Point native Eban Carter, who was a talented musician and chef. Money raised from the event will benefit the Southwest Renewal Foundation of High Point.
The event will feature live music from “The Carter Brothers,” "The Peace Train Band," "Turpentine Shine," "The McKinney Gap Band" and "John Hofmann's AcousticA." In between main sets they will have open mic jam sessions by local musicians. Along with the music there will also be a makers fair with handmade items on display and for sale.
The event is June 4 at Market Square in High Point. Tickets are available online at ebfest.com. Admission is $10 each and children 16 and under get in free.
