FRISCO, Texas — A man found guilty of speeding has paid his ticket by pouring buckets of pennies over a counter at the court house.

NBC Chicago reported that Brett Sanders decided to make a spectacle of paying his fine after being found guilty of driving nine miles over the speed limit.

He reportedly put 22,000 pennies into five-gallon buckets and dumped them over a counter at the Frisco Municipal Court. It was all caught on video. He said it felt “really great.”

It reportedly took the court’s clerk three hours to count all the money. Sanders actually overpaid by $7.81, but he said they can keep the change.
