Winston-Salem man dies after shooting

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A 28-year-old Winston-Salem man died after being shot Thursday night.

Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 1247 Bohannon Park Circle at about 10 p.m.  Upon arrival, Jonathan McCravey was located lying on the lawn in front of the residence with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

McCravey was taken to Baptist Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Witnesses reported seeing a suspect and vehicle fleeing north from the area.
