Massive tiger shark caught for 2nd time near Hilton Head Island

Hilton Head, S.C. — A 1,400-pound tiger shark was caught this week off the coast of Hilton Head Island, and it was caught for the second time by the same fisherman, according to WSOC.

Chip Michalove, the owner of Outcast Sport Fishing, caught the shark Wednesday about a half-mile off the beach on the island.

Michalove originally caught and tagged the shark, named Chessie, last May.

He was fishing Wednesday with a friends from Oklahoma when they caught the shark again.
