Comedian Jimmy Shubert brings laughter to FOX8

It is always a great time full of laughter when comedian Jimmy Shubert visits the FOX8 studio!

Tonight, Shubert, who has a larger than life personality, is performing at The Idiot Box Comedy Club in downtown Greensboro.  Before his show, Shubert stopped by FOX8 and sat down with Julie Grant.

Shubert lives in Los Angeles, but travels all over the world performing standup comedy. Shubert has starred in his own Comedy Central special and has been featured on Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground on Comedy Central.

Shubert was also a top ten finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.  Recently, Shubert taped his third hour-long comedy special.  It is currently in post-production and will be released soon.

Besides being a favorite in the comedy industry, Shubert has also acted in several movies and television shows.   Shubert will be guest starring on an episode of Maron this season.

Shubert is probably best known for his reoccurring role as “Jimmy” on The King of Queens.   Shubert has also appeared in episodes of E.R., Two Broke Girls, and Entourage.  Shubert has acted in films such as Go, The Italian Job, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and One Hour Photo.
