Thomasville police searching for vehicle involved in hit and run

The Thomasville Police Department is seeking public assistance in locating a white Chevrolet Silverado involved in a hit and run last week.

THOMASVILLE, N.C. — The Thomasville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle connected to a hit and run on May 16.

According to a news release, the incident occurred at the intersection of Fisher Ferry Street and Walnut Street. The wreck involved a Davidson County Transportation bus.

The bus was carrying multiple passengers at the time of the crash and two were taken to the Thomasville Medical Center. Minor injuries were reported.

The suspect is believed to be operating a white Chevrolet Silverado and was last seen traveling south on Fisher Ferry Street. The vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side corner panel.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to call the Thomasville Police Department at (336) 475-1000.
