FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A former youth basketball coach faces 69 charges after a sixth victim came forward this week, WTVD reported.

The Fayetteville Police Department said the sixth victim came forward after seeing the news coverage of Rodney Scott’s arrest.

Based on the new information, investigators obtained warrants charging Scott with an additional count of statutory sex offense with a child, one count of crimes against nature, and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

These new charges stem from incidents that occurred on Feb. 12 and 13 with a victim who was 15 at the time of the offenses.

Anyone who believes they have been a victim, or anyone who knows someone they believe has been the victim of a sexual assault, or any crime, involving Scott is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1529, (910) 433-1530, or (910) 433-1851.
