Smoke damage, but no injuries after Forsyth Co. house fire

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – No injuries were reported after a house fire in Forsyth County on Friday morning, according to authorities.

The fire was reported shortly after 6:30 a.m. at Meadowdale Drive and Germanton Road in Winston-Salem.

The house fire was contained and only smoke damage was reported. An estimate of the damages has not been provided. Nobody was hurt.

A cause of the fire has not been released. Crews were about to leave the scene as of about 7:40 a.m.
