ECU student from Lexington dies from wreck injuries

A 21-year-old East Carolina University student from Lexington died Monday afternoon after a two-car accident in Greenville on Sunday, according to the Lexington Dispatch.

Corbin Hargrave was a 2013 graduate of Central Davidson High School.

The accident occurred about 2 p.m. Hargrave was riding in a 2003 Nissan Altima traveling north that police said crossed the center line and hit an approaching vehicle driven by Briella Meade, 20, of Fayetteville, also an ECU student. Meade was listed in fair condition at Greenville hospital.

No charges have been filed.
